Connections and Disconnections

Connection

To connect service at an existing location, complete and submit the service application. Bring the completed form to our office in Tasley or call us to make other arrangements. We also require photo identification with proof of your social security number or Federal Tax ID number.

These forms and other required information can be submitted to the cooperative through email, fax (757-789-5481) or in person at our Tasley headquarters (21275 Cooperative Way, Tasley VA 23441).

Once we receive and evaluate your application, we will contact you regarding any fees required for connection of service.  Once your payment is made you will officially be a member.  A&N Electric Cooperative will accept a letter of good credit from your present utility in lieu of a deposit.

Existing members do not need to complete the service or membership application.  If you are already a member with an active account, you can simply call or email the office to make your request.  A representative will contact you regarding applicable fees and to confirm your request has been processed. 

 

Disconnection Requested by Co-op Member

To disconnect service, complete and submit the disconnect service request form. Bring the completed form to our office in Tasley or call us to make other arrangements. 


 

Accounts Disconnected for Non-Payment

To reconnect an account that has been disconnected for non-payment, the total account balance plus the following fees must be paid: 
 

  • Additional deposit as determined by the cooperative

  • Reconnect Fee

    • $40.00 - during office hours (7:30 - 4:30 Monday - Friday) or

    • $60.00 - after office hours and weekends or holidays
