Addison W. Nottingham, Jr.
Addison “Add” W. Nottingham, Jr. resides in upper Northampton County and was appointed on April 1, 2004 as a Class II Director serving District 2. Nottingham currently serves as the chairman of the A&N Electric Cooperative Board, and ex officio member of all committees. He also serves as Chairman of the Members Helping Members board.
He has attended several national and state cooperative meetings and is enrolled in NRECA’s Electric Cooperative Director’s Institute, having completed his Credential Director’s certificate to the level of Director Gold.
Nottingham is a local farmer and has retired from the Eastern Shore Soil and Water Conservation District. He has served on the Marva Farm Credit Board and now serves on the Northampton County Farm Bureau Board and serves as president of the Eastern Shore Marketing Co-op.
Nottingham has served on the Farm Service Agency County Committee and is the past treasurer of the Virginia Potato ad Vegetable Growers Association.
He is a member of Franktown United Methodist Church, having served as past chairman and vice chairman of its board. Nottingham also serves on the Northampton County AFD Advisory Board, is a member of the Exmore Rotary Club and is their past president.
Add and his wife, Cheryl, reside on Holly Grove Farm in Nassawadox, VA.
