National Weather Service

Impactful weather continues into today with moderate to major tidal flooding, strong northeasterly winds, cooler temperatures, and rainy conditions. Water levels will continue to rise during the next several high tide cycles due to those strong,  persistent northeast winds. Moderate flooding is occurring this morning & widespread moderate to major is likely starting with this evening's high tide cycle.

The gusty northeast winds will persist today, with gusts up to 50mph likely along the Atlantic coastline. A Wind Advisory is in effect this afternoon through Thursday. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. These winds will also result in dangerous surf & possible beach erosion.
