Beginning Monday, May 5th, Transformer Maintenance Services, Inc. (TMS) will be in A&N Electric Cooperative's service area performing annual pad-mounted transformer maintenance and painting. They will begin work in Southern Northampton County and work their way North.
The maintenance includes the removal of superficial rust, the application of a fresh coat of pain and the installation of new lettering. This process protects the identified underground transformers for future corrosion and potential failure, extending their useful life.
