What qualifications do I need?

  • Must be a natural person and not an entity
  • Have been a member of the Cooperative for at least four (4) cumulative years
  • Have the capacity to enter into legally binding contracts
  • Reside and maintain your primary residence in the district you are seeking election.

SurgeAssist Frequently Asked Questions


SurgeAssist is A&N Electric Cooperative’s newest electronics protection program line in its Member Products and Services that helps you with protecting against extensive repairs from surge-related issues. SurgeAssist can be used in addition to or in lieu of the Cooperative’s Meter-Treater program. Residential members are eligible for the program simply by being a member of the cooperative with residential service.

Capital Credits

As a not-for-profit utility company, A&N Electric Cooperative works hard to provide affordable and reliable service. Each year, revenues that exceed expenses (margins) are returned to members in the form of capital credits.
