Beginning February, A&N Electric Cooperative and its contractor, Lucas Underground, will be conducting needed system improvements in Trails End Campground.
The Trails End Reliability project will include replacing the majority of the underground primary cables, the installation of sectionalizing equipment and possible transformer upgrades. Each of these elements will lead to more reliable electric service for cooperative members in the Trails End community.
This work will be conducted over the next several months.
Some of the work will require planned power outages as the cooperative switches co-op members over to the new cable and equipment. Affected members will receive an automated voice message from the cooperative the day before any planned outage. The majority of these planned outages should be condensed to sections of the campground. The phone message will originate from the cooperative’s main 757-787-9750 telephone number.
